I forgot to order a  cake and it was my wife’s birthday. I ordered it for her on Thursday night and I received it before she was out of bed on Friday morning. It said that it came from Mrs. Beasleys bakery in Los Angeles and I was on it and ready to look like a hero!

The item description said that it was enough to serve 10 to 12 people. When we got the cake it was extremely small 6  1/2 inches by diameter. I was a little upset with this as I was still on the 30 day trial and didn’t think that it was going to work out; I could of got the cake for 30 dollars that was a lot larger and fresher then what they had sent. I was also disappointed with the fact that the cake was not local as it had said that it came from  Mrs.  Beasley’s bakery.

I normally am not 1 to complain however I just wanted the company to know that maybe this should be updated. The email stream is below.

I’m very sorry to hear the description of Mrs Beasley’s Lemon Bundt Cake was inaccurate. We understand you have a variety of places to choose from when ordering and feel terrible that we’ve let you down, especially on your wife’s birthday. That’s certainly not the experience we want to create.

I’ve submitted feedback regarding the description on this particular item. In the meantime, I’ve issued a full refund for the cake. I know you stated you did not want a refund, however, I definitely feel it is warranted in this case.

I’ve requested a refund of $29.99 to the payment method you used for your original purchase. This refund should go through within 2 to 3 business days. You should see it as a credit on your next statement.

I’ve also added a $35.00 promotional certificate to your account. I understand this in no way makes up for the inconvenience and disappointment, however, I hope you’ll accept it as an apology.
