First beer order.. So exciting- updated

 Update #1 Alchohol sales have been removed from Amazon Fresh

Wow… wow wow .. ok, so here is a portion of the order that was delivered this morning at 8 am- not shown in the picture is the pound of ceviche from Santa Monica Seafood and the Hard Cider which we made our first video of. This order was supposed to be here last night between 8 and 9 pm, we waited up until 11 pm but there was nothing delivered. I went to bed never knowing if the Hard Cider was cold or not. It was a sad night. I woke up this morning and went straight to the front door to see if it had been left overnight, even though I knew it was an attended order and they would need a signature (there was nothing there).

We called Amazon Fresh just to see what we would need to do.  Maybe it was late… maybe the driver said he delivered it and didn’t… we just weren’t too sure how to proceed.  What is nice is that we weren’t too worried about it as Amazon Fresh has been really good with the customer service. We called they refunded the full order and gave ANOTHER $35 credit. 20 minutes after we got off of the phone a Ryder rental truck showed up and parked in front of the house, was this our order?  The driver said the night shift screwed up and looked like he wasn’t so happy with the extra work his co-workers had left for him. He was really nice and I felt bad for him. Especially because it was a holiday.

The driver came up with the bags, we called Amazon back… now what do we do? Should we reject the order? Should we just take it and forget the last phone call…. The email from Amazon is below , mind you this is a $53 order.

“I am so sorry your order from last night was just delivered this morning. I have passed along information to our Transportation Team so we can look further into this. Normally this doesn’t happen and this is something you shouldn’t expect from AmazonFresh.

I didnt read the email until after the unpackaging and video so keep in mind when this was reviewed all of the food here was delivered for free so I shouldn’t be so picky, but the video is below.  I said the Ceviche was fairly warm… I should have said slightly chilled in retrospect and I am sure it is fine as it was packed yesterday.
