I was sitting talking with one of my clients yesterday when he told me that he had just got a new job. I congratulated him and asked him where he would be working, he said that he got a job at the post office. When he was at the orientation the postmaster asked who would like to volunteer for a new project that the post office was running with Amazon Fresh- my client volunteered and is now working for the federal post office, or is it Amazon Fresh? This should be interesting …. I know that postal workers are not allowed to take tips or gifts ( its a real no no apparently) so it should be interesting to hear how they are planning on dispersing the tips and to whom, or if the tips will just be pocketed by Amazon Fresh? Another interesting thing to see is, who will these postal employees report to… who will be paying their payroll, will they be receiving federal benefits, who will foot the bill for workplace injuries and the list goes on… will it be the taxpayer?
