I peaked out the window on Saturday morning as I heard the delivery arrive at 7 am and went out to get the bags and bring them in to give the kids some bananas with their breakfast. I noticed that indeed it was a US postal service truck delivering the order. My heart sunk I thought……. when has the USPS ever gotten anything right? My fears were realized when I opened the 3 bags and saw that there were 2 items missing which happened to be proteins and were the base of my weekend meals. I thought to myself that I am not that absent minded and that this must be a mistake. The only thing is , is that for the past 8 months I have NEVER had an item not get delivered. Normally and I mean all the time before this weekend there has NEVER been an item that was missed or that was replaced or switched out for another item. I checked my order and there it was, items ordered 17 items delivered 15. I was not charged for the items but it had never happened before. I hope this is an isolated incident and that the USPS and Amazon Fresh can get on the same page as I would hate to plan meals ahead of time only to have them explode in my face and have to run around to stores to pick items up ( I thought that is why I was paying for this service?) Anyways see a screenshot of the crappy garlic they sent to me – it was soft and sprouting. I know Amazon Fresh is not even close to delivering quality produce as I have learned time after time.
