3:00 in the morning ….Dogs start barking, the next thing you know the amazon fresh truck is across the street in front of the neighbors house (a neighbor I would prefer not to have contact with). The truck is running for 15 minutes. This must be a refrigerated truck because it was as loud as it gets. The driver is in the truck cab, he must be filling out paperwork for the order or something. After the 15 minutes of idling and pure noise the back gate opens with a loud clatter, dogs are still barking and another 5 minutes passes. Bags are placed on our front doorstep, the gate closes loudly and the truck FINALLY drives off. I have had a conversation with my “cool” next door neighbor about this issue a couple of weeks ago, and I noticed one of the ladies across the street when I waved was shaking her head in a no motion. I couldn’t figure out why. I think now I know as I have been getting my orders overnight and this is the first time that I have been awake to hear what is really happening out there. I do not think that I can do it anymore (ordering the delivery from 12 am to 7 am) as I really don’t think that it is fair to anyone to wake up the whole neighborhood in the middle of the night just so that I can have the freshest orange juice.
